Facebook Enables Editing Capabilities on Comments

Ever commented on a friend’s picture or wall post only to realize you said “their” instead of “they’re”? The only way to change it was to delete the comment and resubmit a new one – a total pain. Well now Facebook allows you to edit your comments after you’ve posted them!  The editing capabilities were implemented late Thursday, facebook 150x150 Facebook Enables Editing Capabilities on CommentsJune 21, and will slowly be spreading to users’ accounts, reports Mashable.

Hover over the “X” in the upper right hand corner where you used to go to delete your comment and you will now find the “Edit” option. Because this can be used to change anything in your comment, not just grammatical or spelling errors, Facebook will also provide an editing history so that readers can get the full context of a conversation even after the wording may have changed.

Let the comment editing commence!
