Facebook may be gearing up to launch its first-ever smartphone by next year, reports Mashable. What will they think of next?!
This will be the company’s third attempt at producing its own smartphone, after its first effort in 2010
was stopped because of development complications. If successful, Facebook’s smartphone will compete with Google, which recently purchased Motorola Mobility for $12.5 billion.
Facebook is reportedly working with the manufacturer HTC to create a phone going by the code name “Buffy.”
