Your Cincinnati BBB is hosting a free Shred Day this Saturday April 21st from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. Document Destruction will be at UC- Blue Ash (formerly known as Raymond Walters College) providing the shredding services. You can shred up to 5 boxes/bags of documents. This is a great way to get rid of old tax statements, old checks and any credit card solicitations that you receive in the mail. Not only are you cleaning out your house, you are safeguarding your privacy. When you arrive BBB staff and volunteers will greet you and answer any questions. Be sure to look for the cones! We will have 2 trucks running at the same time, this will allow the traffic to flow smoothly. You don’t even have to worry about unloading, volunteers will unload the boxes from your car and put in the shredding bins. Then you are free to go, or you can pull off to the side to watch your documents being shredded on a camera located on the truck. BBB has partnered with the Hamilton County Coalition to Stop Scams, Fraud, and Abuse, WCPO, WMKV, UC, and Document Destruction to provide this free service to the public. When you pull in, be sure to have your windows down to enjoy some music provided by WMKV! We will see you on Saturday.
