AT&T has announced that it will do away with its unlimited data package for wireless users, reports The Wall Street Journal.
Previously, AT&T customers were able to download as many apps, surf the web, etc. as much as the wanted. Now, after customers reach a certain threshold each month, they will see a signicant loss in the speed of their data usage.
The decision comes as AT&T looks for more ways to increase revenue. The company previously stopped offering unlimited data plans to new users in 2010.
