Jon Bon Jovi isn’t dead. That may not be startling news, but if you’ve seen a Tweet or a post on your Facebook page (like I did this morning) claiming the New Jersey rocker, 49, has died of cardiac arrest in a hotel room, it’s not true.
Bon Jovi posted a photo to his own FB page with yesterday’s date on it to prove he is, indeed, still alive, and seems to be taking the hoax in stride.
Meanwhile, be careful when searching the Internet. Do not open email from strangers or click on suspicious links. If you are looking for news about Jon Bon Jovi, go to the website of a legitimate news organization such as the Washington Post or Entertainment Tonite.
According to E! Online, Golden Globe winner Bon Jovi joins Stephanie Meyer, Britney Spears, and Bobby Brown on a long list of celebrities who have been the subject of this type of hoax. Harrison Ford was said to have died aboard his yacht off the cliff of San Tropez, while Dwayne “the Rock” Johnson supposedly fell off a New Zealand cliff.

thanks for getting this posted as fast as possible.
I read stories that when the beatles were supposedly ‘dead’, several people committed suicide.
