If you plan on shopping for Cyber Monday deals while at work, you may want to be careful. According to Robert Half Technology, 60% of the 1,400 CIOs it surveyed this year are blocking all access to online shopping sites. That number is up from 48% last year.
More than 20% surveyed say they will permit access, but will monitor employee activity for excessive use.
Companies expect employees to spend about half a day — four hours — shopping online this week, according to USA Today.
