Burger King, the second largest hamburger chain, announced its plans to introduce new-and-improved French fries next week.
The chain’s fries haven’t changed since 1998, and the new version is thicker and fluffier with better potato flavor, according to Nation’s Restaurant News.
The new fries are expected to be in about 7,000 locations by Dec. 5. It is also reported that Burger King will be giving out a free small fry to consumers on Dec. 16 to promote the debut.
What fast-food chain has the best fries?

Finally! Burger King’s fries have always been sub-par to McDonald’s and Wendy’s, especially with Wendy’s new french fries. Its about time they jumped on the bandwagon for better fries!

McDonalds has always had the WORST fries available, nothing more than a greasy, over-salted version of those crappy dried-out “shoestring fries” you buy in a can at a convenience store. BK’s fries are fine the way they are, certainly better than McD’s.

New Fries are not good… Tried them twice…. Bad both times. Burgers are ok, even though they microwave them. If I go again I’ll get the O’rings

The new fries suck, if they don’t go back to the old fires I will be going to McDonald’s.

The old fries were great, they had been blistered and had that satisfying salty crunch.
The new fries…. well they are terrible.
I have now tried them 3 times. They are not fully cooked for one. For 2, they have lost all taste, instead of gaining, and 3, they are not filling.
The fries had been my reason to go to the BK in the first place, now I go to Wendy’s.
