stubhub 150x150 BBB Featured on NY1 Regarding StubHub ScamThe Better Business Bureau of Metropolitan New York was recently featured on NY1 to provide details on a popular SubHub ticket scam.

The scam targets people via email confirming their purchase of tickets on StubHub. It then goes on to ask for personal information, including a credit card number.

This type of scam is called “spear-phishing,” a more focused phishing ruse. For anyone affected by this scheme, StubHub urges consumers to contact them, as well as follow their instructions posted online.
