house autum 150x150 Americans Relocating at All Time Low11.6 percent of Americans changed residences between 2010 and 2011 — the lowest moving rate since the Census Bureau started keeping track in 1948, according to the Orlando Business Journal.

As of 2010, more than half (59 percent) of Americans have stayed in the state in which they were born.Louisiana leads that category with 78.8 staying put, followed by Michigan at 76.6 percent.
