Add another Facebook scam to the list-this time it’s a free pizza coupon from Pizza Hut, reports Sophos.
The link, which is popping up on Facebook profiles everywhere, says “Eat for Free at Pizza Hut!” When clicked, the link takes users to a separate webpage which instructs them to share the link with their friends and comment saying Pizza Hut serves “the greatest food” in order to claim the coupon. Users are then directed to a third-party webpage claiming, “make money fast,” and asks for personal information.
Facebook’s security systems are not currently blocking the link, making it easy for scammers to take advantage of Facebook users.
