Sprint Raises Early Termination Fees

smartphone 150x150 Sprint Raises Early Termination FeesSprint has announced it will be raising its early termination fees (ETFs) for advanced devices to $350, joining the ranks of AT&T and Verizon, reports CNET.

Originally set at $200, the Sprint’s new ETF will be prorated based on how many months are left in the account holder’s contract.

The change in fees may be due to the fact that Sprint is adding even more popular devices to its lineup, including the Samsung Epic Touch 4G, and possibly the rumored iPhone 5 device.

Sprint’s new prorated $350 ETF will take effect beginning September 9.
