With so many tablet computers on the market, Amazon has decided to negotiate with newspaper and magazine publishers to bring their content to their new tablet computer, reports The Next Web.
Amazon may offer a better deal to these publishing companies than they get for providing content for the Apple iPad. Currently, Apple charges providers a 30% cut of any sales made through the app directly. If publishers fail to comply with these charges, Apple takes away their ability to make any reference to sales inside the app.
Although Amazon’s tablet has not been formally announced, it is expected to be released for the holiday season, priced at $250.
