These Checks Are Real

mailbox1 150x150 These Checks Are RealAccording to a recent post by the Federal Trade Commission, over 114,500 people will be getting refund checks in the mail from that agency. And, that might come as a surprise to you.

But you will note, nobody wants you to wire money back.

Who You Are:

  • people who applied for loans and were tricked into paying for a separate debit card through a misleading pre-checked box on the application from Swish Marketing and VirtualWorks LLC and
  • people who were sold bogus “auto warranties” that turned out to be extended service contracts from Transcontinental Warranty and Voice Touch, Inc
