Cargill Value Added Meats Retail issued a voluntary recall of roughly 36 million pounds of turkey yesterday due to possible Salmonella. The recalled frozen and fresh ground turkey products were manufactured from February 20, 2011 through August 2, 2011.
The company is also suspending their production of ground turkey products until more is known.
