Amazon’s On-Demand video streaming has reached 100,000 titles. 9,000 of those title are available under the Prime streaming plan and the rest are set aside for a la carte renting and buying, reports Techcrunch.
With the recent price increase to Netflix subscription plans, Amazon’s timing couldn’t be more perfect. However, right now, with Amazon’s per-movie, per-episode pricing, most consumers will probably stick with Netflix — unless Amazon gets the message and outs a competitive plan.
