Hello, Who’s Calling?

BBB heard from a consumer who received, what she felt, was a disturbing call.  The caller said someone gave him her name and number for a job (even though she didn’t apply for a job).  The caller wanted to set up an “interview” and was asking personal information.  Our consumer was savvy enough not to give any information but was concerned for others, so she contacted BBB.

BBB is once again reminding you not to give personal information of any kind to those you don’t know, you should not have to pay money to obtain a job and never pay for a credit check to get hired.  Check out our information about job scams.
