You might want to rethink that – especially if you’re in the market for a used vehicle.
It is expected that flood-damaged vehicles will soon start appearing – if they haven’t already – at auto auctions, used car dealerships and in print and online classified ads. Many try to mask flood damage with new upholstery and carpet. And they try to lure you in with bargain prices.
What to do? Avoid purchasing a used vehicle sight unseen. Instead, give the vehicle a thorough inspection and look for any discrepancies in the title.
