boxing glove 300x199 Latest Facebook Scam Involves Justin BieberFacebook, with its 500 million users worldwide, is often the victim of scams, viruses, and malware attacks. The most recent scam circulating the popular social networking site is a fake video of Justin Bieber punching his girlfriend Selena Gomez.

According to Online Social Media, the wall post looks like an official report stating,  “TMZ Reports Justin Bieber Punched Selena Gomez IN THE LIP!!!” Once you click on the post, you get redirected to a page where there appears to be a large video and once you click the play button, you will have just “Liked” the page (and spammed all of your Facebook friends with the same scam). You are then directed to another page that asks you to fill out a survey.

If you do fall victim to this scam, the first thing you should do is remove post from your wall so that others wont fall victim as well. You can do this by clicking on the “X” next to the wall post and then clicking the “Remove Post and Unlike” option from the drop down menu. It is also important to run a virus and spy ware scan just to be sure that you haven’t been infected in any other way.
