facebook 150x150 Facebooks New Facial Recognition Feature: What You Need to KnowFacebook has been working on a facial recognition feature that makes it easier to tag friends in pictures.

The new feature, called Tag Suggestions,  was activated for public use this Tuesday, according to Mashable. Tag Suggestions is introduced as a default setting, it offers users the chance to tag groups of friends in an album by using facial recognition technology to automatically group faces together and suggest the friend you should tag them with. To save you from being easily tagged in embarrassing pictures here’s how you can disable the feature:

1. Go to your privacy settings.
2. Click “Customize settings.”
3. Scroll down to “Things others share.”
4. Find “Suggest photos of me to friends.”
5. Edit accordingly.

Although it is an easy fix, there are many concerns presented by privacy-focused users. How do you feel about this latest change?
