The lawsuit questioning Taco Bell’s beef has been dropped after the company made changes to its marketing and product disclosure, USA Today reported.
After a $3 million to $4 million ad campaign by Taco Bell to counter the suit, the Alabama-based law firm Beasley Allen has voluntarily withdrawn the lawsuit. No money was exchanged.
According to Attorney Dee Mills, “From the inception of this case, we stated that if Taco Bell would make certain changes regarding disclosure and marketing of its ‘seasoned beef’ product, the case could be dismissed.”
