Cincinnati Police sent out an alert about an unusual twist on credit card fraud. Apparently suspects have been climbing on top of the roofs of businesses such as convenience stores and covering the satellite receivers with aluminum foil to scramble the signals. They then purchase prepaid credit cards and/or fuel with stolen credit cards. The credit card system is down at the time of the transaction but the vendor may not yet be aware of it until the suspects are gone.
