      On 10/11/21 I brought my 2018 Ford Mustang GT to Gateway Ford where I purchased the vehicle for a powertrain issue. My care only has 49,000 miles on it and the powertrain is still under warranty with Ford. At that time I was told they would not even be able to look at my car until 10/25/21. I asked about a loaner or a rental since this is an warranty issue on a vehicle I should not be having issues with and I was told they don't have any loaners and they don't do rentals. I later called Ford Customer Service to complain where I was told I could be reimbursed up to $35 per day for 10 days for a rental. You can't get a rental for $35 per day and it is now 11/16/21 and my car still is not even on a rack to be fixed at Gateway and I still have no vehicle and am paying a note for a vehicle I haven't had in my possession since 10/11/21. On 10/25/21 after I received a call from gateway asking what the issue was. I describe the issue and informed them that a light was on in the care. I also read them the info that I received via ford pass regarding what the issue was. Two days went by and I was not updated to the findings on 10/25/21. I called for an update and was told someone would have to call me back the following day because they were too busy. My Dad called later for me and was informed that they called Ford Motor Company since it is a warranty issue and they were told to change the valve body. They changed this and it still did not fix the issue. I did not receive a call to update me to that I had to call after not hearing anything for another week and was told since that did not work they had another care ahead of me that they were working on and when they were done with this they would take the transmission apart and send pictures to Ford Warranty division to be told what to do next. Each week since I have called and still my care has not been looked at again since the supposed valve body change. Each week it is a different excuse. I want my car back timely.

      On Friday December 15th, 2023 I purchased a 2013 Ford Escape with 91,213 miles on it from Gateway Ford in Ponchatoula. I purchased the vehicle with cash as a 3rd vehicle as a gas saver as an option from my larger V8 truck. The same evening (12-15-23), we drove the Ford Escape 18 miles with our kids to a nearby bowling alley. Upon arrival in the parking lot, I attempted to reverse into an empty spot. When I shifted into reverse and applied the gas the vehicle moved slightly, but then came to a sudden stop. I initially thought I hit something at the rear of the vehicle, but there was nothing in back of me to hit. I placed the vehicle in park and then back to reverse again and the vehicle just made a revving sound and did not accelerate. After placing the vehicles shifter in park and reverse one more time, the vehicle finally reversed as it should. Because of the time of night, Gateway Ford was closed and I was unable to call them to explain what happened. The next Monday, Dec. 18th, I brought the Ford Escape to Gateway Ford and explained that had happened that Friday night with the shifting. The service person advised to drop the vehicle off and they would check it out. After the entire week, the service department could not find anything wrong, but Alan the service manager said this incident would be documented. I picked the vehicle up that following Tuesday 12-26-23 and continued to drive it occasionally. On Weds Jan. 3rd, 2024 I drove the Escape throughout the day to run errands. I had parked in a local business parking lot and noticed a large puddle of an oil based substance under the vehicle. Shortly after I brought in back to Gateway Ford where I explained my frustrations about the vehicle. The manager ***** said he was only able to purchase the vehicle back for a trade in amount of $8,000. I advised ***** I could not do that and to check the vehicle out and see what the oil leaking was from. See attached for the remainder of the story
