Complaint: eTitle Loan AKA Whetstone Partners, LLC. Scam!!! I took out a title loan with etitle back in April of 2013. The loan officer had me sign a contract on a table with my initials and stated that a copy will be mailed to me. Upon receiving the copy there is a $750.00 debt cancellation fee that I never agreed to. It was NEVER mentioned during the loan presentation. I called them regarding the fraud and asked to speak to a supervisor. they claimed that the supervisor was in a meeting and I received no call. They know that if a person is taking out a title loan in the first place, they can not afford to hire a lawyer to fight their scamming practices. This company need to be stopped.
