            I was directed to Windermere Clinic by the physician I was working for back in 2021. The sole reason I went there was to get the Moderna vaccination that he set us up to receive. I was covered by insurance at the time. The wait at the first visit was 1.5 hours just to see an MA. I NEVER saw a doctor and *** received invoice after invoice from them for two years now for $120. Keep in mind, Covid vaccinations are free everywhere else I have checked. Each time I call, they state they will look into it and get back with me. Then comes another bill months later. Said invoices come from Northside PatientCo and mind you, they state they are calling Windermere for answers. No one responds. Not ONCE did anyone call me back and now theyve sent me to collections. At the very least, I deserve answers or an explanation of charges. What kind of customer service ignores a patients request and has them sent to collections thus putting a derogatory **** on their credit?

            I wish we could give zero star. We took an appointment for our annual free check up, my wife's appointment was the 1st one to see the doctor - they did all necessary/unnecessary tests, *** and all said its covered with Insurance- we never paid any single amount earlier for our annual check *** but looks like doctors here did additional tests so that can be charged to our insurance and somehow make more money - during my wife's *** the machine malfunctioned and they didn't perform a job though they actually charged for it and later we received a bill from Insurance and Labs to pay our part which was more then 100$. same thing happened in my case too during annual check up except the *** was fine. similarly i did received 100+$ bill for my lab tests. They did really poor and unprofessional job that ******** sent me bill and finally when we spoke to our Insurance they said not to pay for it hence they did mistakes which Insurance has corrected - imagine someone pays and dont bother to talk to Insurance they make profit like this.My wife called the billing department to discuss about this issue and the person was so rude and was not giving clear explanation, so unprofessional that does not know how to talk to patients and customers - one of the worst customer service ever we have seen. The billing department lady hung up on the phone on my wife instead try to resolve the matter. This business should be investigated for the services they provide and see what kind of tests they are doing and charging patients for things they should not be charged.

            Hello ************** Whenever a patient comes in for an annual exam, our providers perform age-appropriate preventive services and order labs if they are part of preventative service or provider feel is necessary based on medical conditions. All of this was explained in our Annual Physical consent and the patient was advised to call insurance for coverage-related questions along with CPT codes. This consent was signed by your wife. The *** for your wife was performed and the report has been uploaded to the portal. We admit that there was a delay in uploading the report due to technical issues with a recent upgrade of our EMR platform, but it was done, and your wife was notified about it through email also. Regarding lab work- we normally do only basic labs as part of a physical exam unless the provider sees the need to do extra labs as per the patient's medical conditions/history and consent form is always signed by the patient before Labcorp draws the blood. All labs are filed are to your insurance by *******; and the reimbursement is also received by Labcorp. The practice or provider does not receive any reimbursement for lab payments to Labcorp.Also, there was no mistake in coding for the labs; they were primarily done for annual exam and that's how they were submitted; rather we had to make some edits and resubmit the labs, as your insurance plan denied the labs if they were done as part of physical. We are always here to help people with their billing issues, but in an amicable manner. Your wife's emails were consistently being responded to promptly, to all the issues that were brought up. The practice cannot discuss your labs with your wife without written consent, which made her upset and when she refused to hear what the billing staff tried to explain, we had to request her to end the call. We follow all compliance guidelines and therefore cannot violate HIPAA regulations. If you have any billing questions, we would appreciate you calling us for any queries. As a one-time courtesy, we will remove the $25 charge for the Ekg that was done for your wife, but going forwards we request you to find out about your benefits before the visit.
