After filing several complaints with the AJC, we are continuing to receive unwanted papers to our address, and wish for this to stop immediately.
We have filed several complaints with the AJC by both phone and email, and are still receiving unwanted papers to our address. We had agreed to a limited trial subscription around the holidays only to help out a College kid that claimed that it would really help him out and he would gain tuition money from the AJC. Within a month, we contacted the AJC and stated that we no longer wanted to receive any of their services, free or otherwise. Since then, we have been contacted by the AJC sales staff team repeatedly, and have told them numerous times to take us off of their call/mailing list, and that we do not wish to receive any of their services. Although we have requested to opt out of all sales calls and services, we continue to receive their papers, and it has gotten to the point where while on vacation the papers piled up in our driveway and our HOA issued us a warning, and threatened fines. Over the course of our 10 day vacation, the sitting papers in our driveway became embedded in the cement, and we had to pay a pressure washing company to use a special treatment to rid of the embedded papers (our standard pressure washer was not effective enough and we were risking HOA fines). We have contacted the AJC since then, and not only are we continuing to receive multiple unwanted papers each week, but we have also been denied communications with Management on the matter. When requesting to speak with Management, we have been placed on hold for 30+ minutes, only for the phone to conveniently "disconnect" after being transferred to several people. We have had a very poor first experience with the AJC, and ask that they make this right.
Please stop sending us papers or mail of any kind, and discontinue all sales related calls, effective immediately. As an Executive Business Manager, I feel that it would be a nice gesture to offer reimbursement for the cleanup of damage caused to our driveway, but I will leave that up to the AJC Management. Our primary concern is the lack of attentiveness to this matter, and we just want the papers to stop. PLEASE.
I sincerely apologize that you are continuing to receive unwanted deliveries of our free products. I have reviewed your account and added you to our do not deliver list. I have also escalated this to the district manager who serves as the carrier's supervisor. He advised me that there is a new carrier on this route but he will be sure to stop the weekly delivery to your home immediately. If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out to me. Have a great day.

Thank you. While I understand that the AJC products we received were not at our expense, we did have to hire an outside company (which was at our expense) to remove the embedded papers and stains on our driveway, due to a lack of attention by the AJC team. We are satisfied with the result of no longer receiving the papers, but are still unsatisfied with the poor customer service that your team has demonstrated. We received 2 more papers this week, since our complaint has been filed, and hope that this will not continue post 6/1/15 (our most recent paper was delivered on 5/31/15).
