A tree fell through my house and I am denied coverage for this damage.
Last year in November a tree fell through my house causing major damage the insurance company denied me coverage due to me not living in my house. I am in the military and was given orders to Germany, they knew that I was not living in the house and I had a previous tree incident that was covered as I was not living in the house. They said that I had the wrong coverage. There is nothing that says that I had to have different coverage if I was to be stationed anywhere else. I am a homeowner so why is homeowners insurance not the correct insurance to cover me. I believe I should be covered for this damage. I still have much of my stuff that was still in the house I don't really have it labeled as a rental property.

Desired Settlement
I am seeking that I get refunded for all the work that I had to put into the place out of my own pocket which has been around 4700 dollars to this date.
