If I can give them zero stars I would. I rented there from Sept 2021 - April 2023. It was a nightmare to say the least. I'm typically a homeowner. I moved to Stockbridge, GA to build a home on land that I purchased. I lived in Southwind apartments temporarily until my house was finished. Anyway, I wind up purchasing a home just to get away from them before my house was finished. First, they have an infestation of roaches. I never lived with roaches since I had been living on my own almost 30 years. They sent in the exterminator to no avail. Also, there was a shooting, yes a shooting, and the bullet went into someone's apartment. There are people standing around smoking drugs. When you tell management, they ask you as the tenant to call the police. They stole money from me. I had to get a lawyer. I was all paid up with them (I have an email as proof) and they put something negative on my credit. I don't have anything negative on my credit but from them. They told me they don't remember my conversations I had with them, although they told me what to pay. It was a mess. *****, the manager is ineffective. Her assistant gave me a lease that had increased my rent by 500 after ***** told me that it wouldn't increase but about $100. When I called ***** she told me she would work with me and give me a lease that Friday because she had been sick. Friday came and no lease. Typical of *****, very ineffective. I even asked her about the lease before that Friday and she gave her word that she would provide it Friday. She did not provide Friday, so I did what any sane person would do, look to move. I told her that Monday that I was moving by the end of March. ***** said because I didn't have a lease she would charge me extra rent. I said no because it was not my fault. Anyway, I paid them what I owed and they put something on my credit and have no proof why. DON'T MOVE HERE. THIS PLACE IS UNORGANIZED AND IS DANGEROUS.
