To be clear, my preference is not to be contacted via phone. I have been lied to multiple ********* only want to deal with the management staff via email. I need everything we discuss via email. At this point, anything beyond that would be harassment. I was told, before signing my lease, that I wouldn't need to pay an additional fee for breaking my lease. I was told this because I was very clear that I would not be staying the extent of my lease. I was told, by *************** that I would only need to give a 60 day notice. There was an emphasis, because I asked multiple times, that there would not be a fee. Now I'm being told that I will need to pay an additional $2,000+ to move out of the apartment. No one has been able to give me an explanation of why this charge is more than one months rent or what the charge is for. ******'s explanation is basically no matter what they said I have to adhere to the lease. I completely understand. I am fully aware that I am at the mercy of their lies... but I've asked multiple times if I can have someone tell me what this fee is for, via email, and they have refused. I was also told that I could split this payment up into 3 payments. I asked if we could do this via email, but I have yet to get a response. I also asked what my prorated rent would be for March, but I've received no response. ***** basically states that my questions were answered via phone call. 1) I don't know how she would know that unless she was on the phone. 2) My questions were not answered. ****** told me that she was going to send me an email with the answers to my questions and that she would CC her manager. I've received nothing. As I've stated to the staff at Ashland Pines, they have lied, have nasty attitudes, have failed to file correct paper work that resulted in the county thinking I was evicted in 2019, and they've uploaded my rent to the wrong apt resulting in a wrongful eviction notice. Something has to be done about this. I've attached the emails.
