If I could leave 0 stars, I would. This company cheated an elderly lady out of hundreds of dollars claiming to be making repairs on a three year old unit. In the first visit *** claimed that there was a leak and a clogged filter and charged $115 for fifteen minutes of work. He said he would have to come back out to search for the leak and that it would be $250 to come to find the leak. In the day that he came out, he found no leak, but a loose nut and said he needed to do further diagnostics. When he left she was charged $335 after being told $250. When she told the secretary that she only had the $250 right now, she was immediately threatened with a lien on her house. Mind you that they have come out twice at this point and her family still has no heat at all. He then told her there was a part that is attached to the unit but that would not be considered part of the unit so the part wouldnt be covered but it was attached to the unit and installed with her unit. She was told that to come back and fix that that it would be ANOTHER $750. This man talked about someone huffing their Freon and said that if she didnt want to pay the money that he would go to someone who would pay it. He told her that his family was struggling financially and other things that werent professional things to discuss with a customer. My grandmother has exhausted all of her funds and still has no heat in her house and has gotten the run around from *** since his first visit. This is a poor excuse for a business and I would hate for them to have the chance to drain anyone elses bank account and not complete the job they were called to do.

We appreciate you for taking the time to send in a review. We installed the new heat pump on July 3 2020. We let our customers know that part of our service is a complementary reminder call twice a year for maintenance on their systems. We reached out to this homeowner on 1/6/21 with a voicemail for service. No response from the homeowner. Reached out again on 7/29/21 for service. Again left a voicemail and received no response from the homeowner. Left voicemails on 1/5/22, 6/3/22, and 8/17/22 for service and again no response from the homeowner. On 1/11/23 left another voicemail for service received no response until 11/14/23 when the unit was down and they had no heat and the unit quit working. One problem we found was a 100% clogged filter which had never been changed in 3 years and 4 months since the unit was installed. Tried to explain to her, the homeowner , that no matter the age of the heat pump it needs to breathe. Lack of airflow in a system can have a catastrophic effect and cause many problems. It takes time to pinpoint all the problems that have occurred. Yes the unit is under warranty but thats for parts of the unit not for the labor, time, it takes to find everything that has been compromised from the neglect. You start with the less expensive fix hoping it takes care of the problem. And if not then you look other places until problem is found. All of which takes time and money. We did make a diagnosis of the problem and sent a picture of the part that needs to be replaced to the homeowner. Do to her financial situation she could not move forward with fixing the unit.We want it known we have never nor will ever threaten to place a lien on anyones home. We would rather work out some kind of payments. We are a family owned business and have been in business for 19+ years and would not take advantage of anyone.
