I am more than disappointed with Reliable Heating and Air. I guess that I should have stopped using them years ago. But I gave more than one second chance. All I did to offend them was purchase and ** system a few years ago. At that that time I spoke with an employee who literally mocked me when I called with questions about the warrantee. I should have dropped them at that time, but I gave them another chance after I received apologies from the company. Then last year I had someone at my home doing termite inspection and he shared with me (along with pictures) that the ** folks servicing my home had left parts of the old system and discarded filters over several years (I have a crawl space under the house and have never been there to inspect which I think they were counting on). Again, I should have dropped them then, but they sent someone to clean it out (it took 2 men a couple of hours with oversized industrial bags to haul away what Reliable techs had left) along with an apology. So now, 3rd times the charm. A tech came to change my filter and provide the semi-annual check. When he left, he left the door wide open. I didn't discover it until 2 days later. I was concerned because I live next to a wooded area and any number of unwanted creatures could have entered and created a health hazard and damage to my property. I suggested to them that they should cover the cost of a wildlife expert to assess the crawlspace. They asked me to provide photos from my backdoor camera of the tech leaving it open (my camera of course faces the yard and not the crawl space). I have never had my crawlspace left open by anyone and the latch is very secure so it would not have fallen open.In sum beware! Reliable is rude and provides poor service. And I see that I am not alone in my experience as their rating is 1.5 stars out of 5.
