Little Rock, AR; October 27, 2011- A new phishing scam involving StubHub located in San Francisco, CA has been uncovered.
Hundreds of people across the United States have reported receiving an email claiming to be from StubHub referencing an order for a Boxing event that the recipient did not place. This is a phishing email to gather personal information from you.
This email is not from StubHub and should not be opened. If you have clicked the link StubHub recommends you:
· Change your password if you have an account at StubHub—right away. Do this through their website and not through an email.
· Send a copy of the scam email to StubHub so they can investigate. You can send it to firstname.lastname@example.org.
