Pro Builder has failed to refund money for returned merchandise after stating they would refund my money by check.
On March 11, 2014, I was told by sales rep, *** that the door lever sets and deadbolts that I was purchasing would be keyed alike to my existing home locks before delivery. They were 2 ***** lever sets *************** and 2 ***** single cylinder deadbolts *********** costing $481.74. I paid for the entire order then with my debit card. My invoice number is XXXXX. The Pro Builder reference number on the sales receipt is XXXXXXXXX. I picked up the items on March 21, 2014. When my caprenter started to install the new locks he discovered that they had not been keyed alike. The carpenter put ALL HARDWARE back into the boxes from which they came and I returned the locks on March 24 to have them keyed to my home. Pro Builder called and said the locks had been keyed alike but could not be keyed to my existing home locks. I asked for a refund since the only reason I purchased such expensive locks from them was to insure I received locks keyed to my existing home locks and reminded them that I requested lock sets for specifically that reason. They said I could not have a refund because all four boxes each had parts missing. I asked what was missing. The sales girl said she didn't know about locks and couldn't tell me exactly what was missing until she spoke with someone there that "knew about locks". I told my contractor, ***** ******* about the problem; he had been the one that sent me to Pro Builder for these services. Mr. ****** went to Pro Builder and asked the employee to bring all of the hardware that I returned to the front counter for examination. They did so. Mr. ****** and the employee agreed that all parts were there except for one part in a box that my carpenter had never opened or attempted to install. The only person that had handled that box was Pro Builder's locksmith. The lever sets and deadbolts are still with Pro Builder. Mr. ****** told me that the owner of Pro Buiilder, ***** *****, had agreed to give me a full refund and that their bookkeeper would cut me a check. I called Pro Builder and spoke to ***** ***** who told me I could pick up my check at Pro Builder on Friday April 4 after 3pm. On that date I went to Pro Builder at 4pm and was told by Miss ***** that the bookkeeper had not brought them the check. The employees at Pro Builder have made numerous excuses as to why they have not found the check and the owner of Pro Builder, ***** *****, will not return my calls or those of my contractor.

Desired Settlement
I expect a refund of $481.74.
