Complaint Part not working after 3 times finally bought new one somewhere else will not refund money receipt states will with receipt rude used profane language Complaint agaist B & W battery of Amarillo. The Invoice # is XXXXXX Bought on July 28 2014. Alternator # is ***** On July 26 we where in Pampa and the Truck was dead when we came out of walmart so we had someone jumb us. We barley made it down the street to a **** **** before losing power. They put it on the computor and it was the regulator on the alternator. We bought a new battery to make it home to Clarendon. We then Went to Amarillo on July 28th and bought a rebuilt alternator from B & W battery but on the way home it started to lose power the gages where going crazy no air conditioner no way to put the windows down we then called B & W and told them what was happening . The next day we came back to Amarillo on the way to them we stopped at another Auto parts store and had them put this alternator on the computor and the rpm's where arching to 17 when they are suppose to arch to only 14 and stay there. Took it back off the truck and took it back to B & W told them it still was not working it was losing power no lights rps rev up by them self. When we picked it back up B & W said it didn't arch for them but that they put a new regulator on it anyway. And if it did it again to bring it back still on the truck so they could check it on the truck sometimes they can tell better that way.On they way back to Clarendon it started doing it again no power no lights. When taking it back on Monday they where rude said they had no time I asked if I could wait didn't mind since we live in Clarendon. They said they did't want me here waiting all day. So I left the truck there. They called me a few hours after leaving the truck with them and asked me why I said I reved up the truck to 500 rps why would I do that? I said I didn't say that I said will I was trying to go to Foss Lake in Oklahoma this weekend all the gages went crazy and the rpms went up to 500 by themselves. Well after that they never worked on it. When I called at 4:30 in afternoon after leaving it since 8:30 am they said the guy that was suppose to work on it had a family member get ill. They never called to tell me. So I went home hoping I would make it back to Clarendon. I didn't feel like I could no power no lights so a I stopped at another Auto parts store they put it on their computor and they said in 10 yrs as a mechanic never saw it arch so high afraid it was going to fry my computor on the truck. So I bought a alternator there and it works perfect no more problem So happy I could make it home. Came back on Wed. to B&W this morning to get my money back my receipt said for warranties or refund have to have receipt, they would not refund my money. I showed them the print out from the Auto parts store which showed how it arched to 18 and the guy called them the F Word and said they didn't know what they where talking about. My truck is working perfect now I told him they must know something. I can't believe I had to go through all that with these people I don't want anyone else to go through what I did. What kind of business does this.
Desired Settlement I would like my refund I had to go into Amarillo three time 70 miles each way. And they just didn't care. They should have better customer service and to call the Auto parts place F ers don't know what the F they are talking about. Three different Auto Parts store all said the same thing. It was the regulator on the alternater on the old one and the rebuilt one B & W sold us.
