|Customer Review Experience||Value|
|Positive Review||5 points per review|

BBB Letter Grade Scale
Star Rating scale
BBB Customer Review Rating plus BBB Rating is not a guarantee of a business' reliability or performance, and BBB recommends that consumers consider a business' BBB Rating and Customer Review Rating in addition to all other available information about the business. If the BBB Rating is NR then only Customer Reviews are used for the Star Rating.

Complaint: I purchased a harley davidson motorcycle with accessories (including an additional two seater seat). Turns out the two seater seat is an incompatible seat for my bike (it doesn't fit) and cliffs will not buy me a correct seat to fix there mistake. They instead offered to get me a new seat as long as I pay for half the cost of the new one. My issue is that I already payed for the two seater seat to go with it, why would I pay again? I have the sales receipt and the incompatible seat as evidence towards my claim. I believe I'm being targeted due to my active duty service in the navy. If cliffs doesn't fix there mistake.
Desired Settlement: Order and deliver a two seater for the bike. No other alternative is acceptable.
Mr. ******** purchased a used 2007 H/D XL883 from us on 2/11/2015 SER#*****************. I have enclosed a copy of the Bill Of Sale and you can see that there is no mention of a seat listed under the accessories breakdown. The value of the bike was for what was listed on the Bill Of Sale. This bike was at our Dealership under consignment. When the bike was put on consignment the customer also dropped of a second seat that he said he bought off of Ebay but never installed on his bike. I did give this seat to Mr. ******** after the deal was done and we told him that we never tried to install the seat. The seat was not displayed on the bike nor was it listed as any value on the Bill Of Sale. In good faith we did offer to sell Mr. ******** a New seat of his choice at 1/2 of dealer cost. But he was not happy with that offer. I told Mr. ******** that I thought that was a fair offer. After Mr. ******** rejected our offer we than offered him a 100% refund if he was to bring the bike back in the same condition as we sold it. He also refused that offer saying he was happy with bike and thought it would be hard to find another one at that price. As for Mr. ******** being miss treated because he is in the military is not true. We offer a discount to all military service men and women and do many fund-raisers for the military. Cliff Schoenoing owner of Cliff's Cycle Center is a Marine Veteran who served his country very proudly before he started the bike shop back in 1967. I have also sent over a picture of the bike the way it was displayed for sale. This bike has no passenger footrest and was sold as a one seater.
