Complaint: Stayed one night at this resort on 8/9/2014 checkin. 1) Kept waiting for the whole family for three hours saying room was not ready and no time estimate was given. Room was available only after hours after. Asked the GM of the hotel to refund, he agreed but fail to refund in full. He deliberately missed extra charges and fees that incured. They say they would take care of any issues on my liking via email but never came forward to meeting it properly. I spent hours contacting them - big waste of time. 2) During our stay we lots a pair of pearl earrings (studs). Contacted immediately their lost and found and left messages. But response for days. After days of no response contacted General Manager(GM) of the hotel and response came back saying they found the pearl earrings and asked for us to send them a picture if we have. We have "letter of authenticity with picture" from the jewelry store which we sent as an attachment. They verified and asked for $5 for shipping, we gave credit card and the item was mailed to us. It took a MONTH for them to find the item and send. We opened the item and found that it was the right item but in a disfigured condition. Both pearl studs were burnt on fire. The white pearls were with bubbles and disfigured/destroyed on fire. The gold stems were blackened on fire. The items are unusuable now. Contacted GM with pictures of the studs and asked for compensation to replace the items which cost $189(approx. as outlined market value appraisal sheet). Operation department came back and declined to do anything further. They keep asking 'can I answer any questions?' and do not want to refund/compensate for anything. Both of the above issues are very serious to me. All customers need to know and understand this grave situation and its handling by Salishan.

Desired Settlement: 1) Salishan should replace our item that got destroyed and kept for a long time at lost and found. Their lost and found department was not responsive to multiple phone calls from the very beginning. 2) Salishan should refund my full cost of stay that includes "fees and taxes". Previous partial refund did not include full refund. 3) Salishan should offer few days of free stay(dbl/dbl or better) valid for 12 months or longer for all the hassle, loss, anxiety and trouble that was created.
