I wish to make the strongest complaint against Northwest Driving School in Port Angeles WA. This is a vicious money grubbing filthy operation ripping off young adults because WA DMV is mostly closed. He only accepts cash. He makes candidates use his dirty ill maintained cars for extra money. He makes no effort to clean cars between drivers and the cars themselves have not been cleaned for some time. My son drove 1800 miles practicing in all sorts of weather and driving conditions and he was failed twice in three days. He was denied the rubric ahead of time that DMV regs say should be made available. He would not give two minutes for the driver to get used to his car. He giggles and laughs out loud while testing. He constantly invents scenarios that are not happening. He took points off my son because he claimed he did not get out of a stop sign fast enough as a log truck was going to rearend him. After he failed the second time my son asked him about the made up scenarios. In 20 seconds he told my son he would never test him again and to get off his property. My 21 year old son was trying to get a license for his new job in Florida. The Florida DMV in four days took care of his written, driving, and transfer of title and plates! Not only is a license a rite of passage for a young adult but in a rural county like Clallam it is essential for school and jobs. Many kids have to help out the family to make it these days. The psychology of the owner can only be described as cruel. His BBB rating is already a D-. He needs to be turned in to the DOH for Covid violations and the Dept. of Revenue for all cash. I plan to complain to those two entities plus the DMV and Attorney General. His Google reviews are wretched as well. He is deliberately harming people and getting rich doing it.

This customer was refused for service due to ongoing foul language & causing a hostile environment for our under-age, minor students. The DOL is & was open at the time of ******** Test. A license is NOT a “right of passage” but actually a life saving skill that Connor was no where near ready for nor capable of obtaining. The State Testing Protocols are not in our hands but directly with the DOL (not the DMV, as WA State does not have DMV’s).
