I bought a 2015 Ram **** from them in January of 2022 and have had to take the truck in for service four times. Of the four times, they have managed to break a headlamp I paid labor for them to adjust; not apply my warranty I paid for through them, or try and skirt around using it, and withheld my registration and plates for a month without notifying me. At the very least, this place is negligent and unprofessional. I have dealt with ******* GMC, and ***** and never had issues like this.

I traded in my vehicle (Vehicle 1) for approximately $55k in hopes of leaving with a work-oriented truck (vehicle 2) for approximately $49k. This initial transaction was easy and quick. After less than 48 hours of ownership I discovered the truck would not meet my business needs and contacted the dealers General Manager as well as the original sales rep to take advantage of the 7 day exchange policy. ******* had me talk to ***** **** ***, and a couple other salesmen before they would assist me with exchanging for a different vehicle. My original request was to get my original trade-in back so that I can drive it until we can order a truck that will fit my needs. The refused and said there was absolutely no way I could get my original truck back that it was already in our system so we just cant. Next, I found another truck that would suffice as a temporary vehicle for myself but it was about $15k less than Vehicle 2. Per their exchange policy they said I had to pick a vehicle of equal or greater value- essentially forcing me to take home a more expensive vehicle even though the loan information was going to be re-done. This was a tactic to force my hand in purchasing a vehicle well over the price I had just paid since they didnt have any vehicles of fair quality available at the $50k price range. I the decided on a truck (vehicle 3) that was $55k (and nearly identical to Vehicle 1 that they refused to return to me). Thinking I am taking part in an EXCHANGE, I had originally received $55k for my trade on Vehicle 1 so I assumed exchanging would lead to just some finance charges but essentially leaving with the same loan I walked in with on day 1. I was wrong. Once we got down to paperwork for the exchange they informed me this would actually be a TRADE of the Vehicle 2. So the value I had received in my original trade-in was negated and put in the pockets of ******* and lead me to then paying an additional $5k to make up for the difference. If this had been an exchange based on our original transaction, I would be working with the trade in value of Vehicle 1 going towards Vehicle 3.All of this is within the unfortunate laws of WA state, so at this point ******* didnt technically break any laws. I have to thank a poor legal system favoring businesses in WA for that part. What they did do was mislead me as a customer with their false 7 day exchange policy which was really just them saying we will let you trade-in another vehicle- which is not special policy since I could have done at any time with any dealership. What they did next included lying and pressuring me a customer. I had been talked into a $5k warranty for Vehicle 2 but was going to cancel the policy because it wouldnt be needed. I went to cancel at the same time as this trade and they said many excuses such as you have to wait for your first payment to happen before you can cancel, and that I had to enroll in a new warranty for Vehicle 3 simply because I had purchased one for Vehicle 2 and that was part of the exchange policy- which it is not written anywhere in their exchange policy that warranties have to carry over. I asked multiple times for the paperwork to cancel the warranty and had multiple people including ****** from finance and *** is sales repeatedly tell me I cant. Unfortunately for them, it is written in the warranty policy that I have the right to cancel AT ANY TIME. I can acknowledge I made the unfortunate decision to trade in my vehicle in the first place and we live in a state that does not protect the consumer from this issue. That I can return a pair of $20 shoes to the store but I cant return a $55k purchase makes no sense, but is an issue with WA legislation. My issue here is with ******* lying about the exchange policy (which is actually just the general trade-in allowed anywhere at any time), with the half a dozen staff that passed me around before assisting with the second trade and finally, for the blatant disregard for my rights in regards to canceling the warranty policy. When it was all said and done I left with a truck I had to settle on because it was in the allowed price range for the exchange and I left with a loan that is $5k more than when I started for Vehicle 3 which is older, with more miles. ******* about this transaction felt fair nor was I happy with the outcome in anyway. I felt pressured by the staff and I felt lied to about the policies and the companys desire for customer satisfaction.
