Very unprofessional I felt I was treated in a discriminatory manner because of my *** and age, assuming I was ignorant of my machine. I brought it in in July of 2023 and it was not fixed until March of 2024. I spent a great deal of money buying parts and paying for labor for unnecessary repairs which included replacement of 2 spark plugs, power steering, stator, guage, emptying the gas tank, and was going to be charged $1352.98 to replace the harness on my ATV. The service department misdiagnosed numerous times always stating they had consulted Corporate Arctic Cat with no resolution to my original problem of getting an error code on my power steering unit. I incurred expenses and stresses for snow removal on my driveway as well as the ongoing inability for Northern Power Sports to fix my ATV in a timely manner. It was finally determined I did not need a wire harness replacement but the real problem was the replacement of my voltage regulator which was replaced 4 years ago and worked perfectly well until July of 2023. At the time it cost $30 and took 5-10 minutes to be replaced by my significant other now deceased. Had the service department conducted a logical and sequential assessment starting with the voltage regulator obviously the heart of the problem I would have been charged less than $300 and the problem would have been fixed the day I brought it in avoiding a total miserable experience. I was offered to purchase a new machine with a discount but I would of had to pay out of pocket an additional $8000 which I could not afford as I was already out $6000 in total expenses. The Manager told my Son I had bought the voltage regulator OEM which is one for the replacement parts I did not supply as many of the parts they said I needed were 6 mos to a year out to get the parts through their supplier. I would rate their customer service and my satisfaction at Zero but had to leave a 1. Their integrity and ability to make things right for me was nil.
