Craig ********* has harassed me since I first moved into his apartment. I signed a lease through the company I work for, which did not include any of his arbitrary rules he added as I walked in the door. He stated that there is a no shoes policy, which I abided but, even though the carpet is from the. 80s. He then said that I was not allowed to hang anything on the walls, which again, was not in the lease. When asked if he would approve 3 shelves, he quoted my place of work $2000 in repairs to hang 3 shelves, which were never hung up. Mr. ********************* then added that the windows were never to be opened if the outside temperature was below ***************************************************** on, even though the apartment was already 68 degrees without the heat in. Again, this was not In the lease. With the heat from the neighbors house, invented a window the 3 to allow fresh air in. The outside temperature was 45 degrees. He pounded in my door every day I was there fir the first week about the windows. The temperature inside my apartment was still above 63 degrees and I vented a window 1/4 to get some fresh air, with the heat off, and was notified through my company that he wanted me out, effective immediately. He said that he would rather me sleep in a tent than live in his apartment. I had been here for 9days when he issued the order to kick me out. I was told to pack immediately. Due to the lack of available housing, I have been packed for 3 days, waiting to find a new place to live. With none of these arbitrary rules listed in tne lease, Mr. *********************** runs his apartments like an angry father who just wants his way. He has neglected to repair any of the broken curtain rods he installed, but quotes absurd amounts to repair holes for shelving. If possible, stay away from his rentals.
