I’m requesting payment for jewelry sent to Kay Jewelers Gold Exchange totaling $305.24. (See a copy of the offer letter attached) In early February 2024 I contacted Kay Jewelers Gold Exchange to sell my personal jewelry by requesting a kit by the phone number listed for the company. They sent me a kit including instructions and a postage paid box to be sent back to a location in Ohio. When they received my jewelry a video message was sent to me by the company and a phone call from ******** making a verbal offer. After a day or two I accepted the offer for a gift card provided by related company Sterling Jewelers, care of parent company Signet Jewelers all of Ohio. To this date I have not received the gift card for $305.24. I have called more than 20 times speaking primarily to ******** but I have spoken to another woman by the name of Brittany. In my last conversation on Monday 3/25, I expressed to ******** that this situation seems like a scam because 1) I never received the gift card and 2) The supervisor she provided (******** *****) is not listed as an employee for Sterling Jewelers, and lastly the corporate phone number provided by Kay Jewelers customer service ************** in not a working number. ******** said she would call me on Good Friday after she heard back from the supervisor, ******** *****, but did not. I called ******** again on Tuesday 4/2, she did not answer my call so I left a voicemail asking her to update me on the pending gift card. She did not return my call. I called the Long Beach Police Department to file a report and they suggested I contact the BBB to file a complaint.
