            I purchased a home in Marblehead  from ****. Standing in the kitchen with two other people **** assured us we had a 1 year warranty on the home. He also agreed to a punch list of items like get screen doors for the sliding doors, take smoke detector bags off from construction etc. he completed a few but not all. After taking possession i found window issues (water leaking, doors wont close) due to improper installation per the manufacturer rep that came out, paint issues, no screen doors, lights flickering, the list goes on. **** refuses to do any work and I was forced to hire a lawyer to get these items taken care of. Terrible customer service and doesnt stand up behind his work after spending 650,000 on a home. My neighbors are having the same problems with this company. No follow through with what they promise. Go with a reputable company that will actually take care of your warranty work.

            Legacy has been working with **** and his attorney. The contract he signed did not have a warranty, it was sold as is. We did in fact fixed items on his punch list and did conduct a walk through. It was then turned over to legal counsel to work through.

            If you look at the other review on the BBB site, you'll see the same thing. And yes, a walk through was completed and items that were to be taken care of were NOT! Things like remove bags from smoke detectors, the fire department loved that one. Even though your walk-through lady (very nice by the way) said **** removed them I showed her 4 that were still on. What about the promised screen doors? That isn't even warranty it is finishing the job! I can't believe you treat customers this way. I would NEVER treat mine in this manner.
