Read Complaint Details
Complaint: I was told that he works on Jeep Liberty Sports and explained that I was having problems with my engine. I was told that have to run diagnostics. He called me less than an hour after my vehicle was towed to the shop to tell me that I needed an engine, from what he could tell my car needed an engine and he do extensive engine work. He then provided me with a hand written form that had some description of what he thought may be the problem and then some codes at the bottom. I was expecting a computer generated printout with a full diagnostic assessment. I also don't know why he would even assess the car when I fully explained, in laymen terms, that there was a problem with my engine and it would need to be towed. I was also agitated when I presented to pick up my vehicle and he had driven it and parked it down the street from his shop stating, driving it that little bit won't do anymore harm.
Desired Settlement: The return of what I thought was going to be a full diagnostic test which amounts to $45.00.
