            Honda Acura Specialist car repair transaction on 8/12/23 for the amount of $146.79. I took my car to have a check engine light repair, 3 different times and they never fixed it. Every time I left there after paying the light came back on. This last time they said it needed an evaporator hose, which they said they replaced but didn't, and said that would solve the check engine light problem. I paid the above amount, but as soon as I tried to drive away the check engine light was still on. I went back in and they said it had a different problem and then wanted me to pay them a 4th time for that. I suggested that since I had already paid several hundred dollars to have this fixed the past 3 times, so therefore would like them to fix it properly for me without charge, the woman told me to leave and not come back. They would not refund my money, the car was not repaired, and the woman at the desk was disrespectful and uncooperative.

            Place completely ripped me off! Had car towed in for a diagnostic and told them the codes that the car was pulling! They said when the car arrived the battery was dead and erased the codes! So they found no diagnosis! But went on to say spark plugs might fix the issue after charging me $328 just for spark plugs (no coil packs) nothing other then spark plugs they came back with thats not the issue! Then proceeded to say two other MAYBE PROBLEMS 1 being a timing belt and 2 another being a cylinder replacement! For both of those MAYBE problems it was well over $3400! But where did this diagnosis come from after replacing those spark plugs? Why wasnt I told this before dumping $328 just for spark plugs when I told them I already replaced 3 of the plugs! Dont take your car here unless you want ripped off! They will rob you blind and not have a care in the world!

            we were very up front about the spark plugs being a starting point you were told this on the phone and was also in writing, you approved the work! the engine had 2 different types of spark plugs in it 3 ***** and 3 none ***** they were flooded with fuel, any shop would have started with doing this seeing how there were no codes stored in the pcm. after we spent another hour looking at your engine at no charge for that. we found both camshafts jump time by 4 teeth causing your no start. once we found this we advised you there is a chance of engine damage and would take more work to know for sure. advising at this time we would have to replace the timing belt and tensioner in order to get the engine back in time and perform a compression test. if you were unhappy with paying for the spark plugs tell us i would have helped you out on this but instead you payed and had the car towed away. call me, we can come to a fair agreement here thanks ***** owner of h-a specialist llc
