KRI Properties recently took over my apartments called ********************** starting in March. They do not take payments via in house only online or you pay thru a pay card at ******* or Amscot. I received a paper in my door and read it thoroughly is did not state that they could not take prepaid cards online. I made my payment and noticed that it was taking forever to go through I spoke ****** the property manager and he stated that this has happened before but at another property and if anything where to happen they would take care of it. They do not work on the weekends so when Monday the 6th came I saw that I accumulated a $125.00 Late fee, $35 rejected fee NSF. They took $25 out of my account which is not reflected on account. My Rent was $1,321.00 I paid and ***** so my remaining balance is $72.00 which I do not mind paying. If you add the fees my balance total ****** and I do not understand why I have to pay when they knew I wasnt going to go thru when I spoke with ******. They now placed a 3day or evicted notice on my door. ****** has not contacted me back nor has the regional manager, *******************************. These people are a very poorly managed company. They think they can use and abuse their power over us tenants and we have to stand the end of the stick. I will continue to fight against these charges food is expensive I have budget to the last dollar to survive. I did everything right a tenant by contacting them as soon as I saw a problem prior to it being late. My life is not a game for their employees to play with if they were in my situation they would be made. And the truth some of probably are. I will continue to post an review this company. I only moved here because it very close to my job which I work as a paralegal the moment they decide to evict me unlike most tenants I can take off work I speak with judges and the assistants on a daily basis. They had the right tenant to try to use and abuse.
