Additional Complaint Information
Complaints to the BBB allege that Lion's Gate Consulting offers services that it does not provide. Consumers report to the BBB that this firm solicits consumers with an "urgent gram" postcard in the mail informing consumers that they are eligible for a $5000 grant. When consumers call the phone number on the postcard they are connected with a representative who informs them they will need to pay a $299.97 fee in order to receive a grant package which will aid the consumer in applying for grants. Consumers report that when they try to obtain more information about the company they are confronted with rude and defensive representatives. Consumers also allege that their bank accounts are often debited the fee amount even though they stated to the company that they wanted to cancel the transaction.
