Completely Junk company. The CEO should be fired. The customer service ****** We ordered 2 doors. We got the doors in 8 weeks. One of the panels had scratches and we had a cracked glass. *** the installation company, was dodging calls to come fix it. I had to call Clopay countless times to get an answer. We got the broken glass fixed after 2 months. They still will not address scratch on panels. The install company committed fraud by charging my card for complete payment without proper signatures. I would stay clear of this company to buy any products.Review from TASHA C

THE WORST! DO NOT BUY GARAGE DOORS! I have been having issues since day one. purchased 2 CLOPAY garage doors from **** ***** in November 2021 in less than a year the garage door malfunctioned. Clopay came out and made an adjustment but not completely fixed. Fast Forward to January 2024 same Issue. Called CLOPAY # ON THE GARAGE DOOR aGAIN. was told they cannot come out and fix there garage door. I am on my own As this purchase is not under warranty. I do not care about warranty, I care about them being knowing and being able to fix there own product, Instead of telling me I need to find another Overhead garage door place to come out and look. ***. The worst customer service ever. We ordered custom doors through them waited eight weeks for them to be delivered for them to send out the wrong tracks contacted them to have new track sent out waited eight more weeks to get new tracks to have them not work either along with the new track they didnt send out any hardware and now are fighting to get correct tracks for our garage door. Steer clear do not order from ideal door.Review from Fabian B

I ordered a door from the ********* with installation. Clopay guy came out and measured and left. Then a week later ********* called me and said I had to pay over $500 for a door frame. Why did the service guy told me that there would be an additional charges for the door jams. Why am I paying for installation. For Clopay guy to open the box for me. Then when I tried to cancelled the order I was told by Clopay that I would be charge $99 for their guy coming out. That is robbery and the goverment to investigate this company for deceiving customers with hidden charges that was not mentioned in the original agreement. So now I am without a door and $99 less from my original payment. Plus if they send a service guy to tell me how much more or less framing I need that would be an additional $99 dollars. Thiefs. Do not buy Clopay doors. Look at all these unhappy customers reviews.Review from James W

I will never buy a Cloplay product again. Purchased a 16x7 insulated garage door in 2015 from **** *****. Called today to get information about the spring (which I have in hand with a label stating size and part number) and was told they could not give me ANY information without the door serial number. The serial number is printed on a paper label affixed to the bottom of the door and has long since detached itself. This most likely happened during the Great Flood in 2016 that inundated 75% of the parish. I have an electronic receipt from Home Depot and a model number, but all of that information is not sufficient. I will not buy one of their products again. I wish I had read this before placing an order through **** *****. I was told it would be 6 weeks. I have called Clopay 2x and they told me the installer has it and will call me to install. I have called the installer 3x and no answer. They are flat out dodging my calls. I already paid. At this point I think my only course of action is legal.Review from Barb D

Wish I would have looked here first. Shame on ********** for using these guys. Like everyone else I ordered doors and had to call a month later to get status. They told me 5 months. Had I know that I would not have ordered from them. Tryed to cancel the order and they refused to cancel it. Jamie was the rudest person I ever dealt with. She said I had to pay 73 bucks for measuring. I told her had I known I would not have ordered at all and she said its on their website. After looking I found a link that gives you their lead time and it is listed far less than 5 months. I ended up hanging up on her and called ********** that refunded my money. Never again. I called a local garage door company and they'll be out to install doors that look just like the ones I ordered in 2 days.Review from Andy G

I ordered a $6000 rv garage door from Clopay in Jan 2022. We still have not received the door. Customer service is by far the worst I EVER encountered. Representative was very condescending and rude. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. They also make installers look incredibly bad. ZERO STARS!!!!!!!Review from James F

If I could give them less than 1 star, I would. I'm not rating their garage doors here because I still haven't received it. We ordered our garage door last November and was promised it would be to us by April, so 5 months. Thought that was a long time but considering the times we are in, OK. April came and went, May came and went, and still no door. Halfway through June, the door makes it our town but the delivery truck that brought it is careless and breaks our door. So, still have no idea when we will have the garage door we ordered last November. We have already paid half of it or I would cancel and start over. They offer no response about why it is so late getting to us and will not discount the door, which they absolutely should do. Extremely disappointing!Review from Sean H

I realize the current economic situation is still working itself out, but I was just quoted 15-23 week delivery on a standard 16x7 and 8x7 insulated door combo order, and this is completely unacceptable- in addition to a 67% increase in prices I received from a local dealer (and **** ***** pricing was compared as well). I have been in the industrial supply business for over 44 years, and as horrible as our delivery on standard items are, this is far beyond believeable. Time for Clopay to fire their supply chain strategists and get to a more reasonable expectation date for their customers.
